2 physical performers with puppetry experience

ROLE DETAILS
Green Ginger is seeking to cast two physical performers with puppetry experience
(1 female/ 1 male identifying) to tour internationally with the company's latest show Intronauts in Autumn 2019.

THE SHOW
Intronauts is directed by Emma Williams and propels audiences into a microscopic journey deep within the human body. Taking cues from classic sci-fi movies and fueled by absurd visual comedy and innovative puppetry, Intronauts offers an inner body experience that is out of this world. Intronauts has been performed over 50 times across UK and Norway since Oct 2018.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Performer 1: Female-identifying, playing age: 25-60
Background in devising and physical theatre - puppetry experience essential.  

Performer 2: Male-identifying, playing age: 30-60
Background in devising and physical theatre - puppetry experience essential.

Green Ginger encourages applications from BAME artists or others under-represented in the arts. Chosen performers complement a small team that works together on gets in and strikes on tour.

THE TIMESCALE
NON-NEGOTIABLE: Applicants must be available for the following dates and hold a valid passport and the right to work in the EU and EEA:

1 June 2019                            Auditions
19 Aug - 12 Sept 2019:           Rehearsals in Bristol
13-16 Sept 2019:                     UK Performances 
20-25 Sept 2019:                     World Puppetry Festival, France
10 Oct - 3 Nov 2019:               Touring to Norway

SALARY
Above Equity minimum, plus accommodation, travel and per diems/catering provided whilst touring and relocation for rehearsal period, if applicable.

AUDITION DATE
We will short-list for auditions to be held on 1 June 2019 in Bristol. 
Invited performers only will be notified by invitation to attend the audition by 10.00pm on Monday 27 May 2019. Limited travel expenses offered to invited attendees.
